Mudjacking is a process where old concrete is re-leveled by using our specialized Mudjack machine to pump liquefied materials under the old concrete. The hydraulic pressures created lift the concrete back to its original position, eliminating the need to replace most uneven concrete. This process is not only fast, but can save you up to 70% over the cost of replacing old concrete. This process requires us to drill access holes into the concrete. The access holes are approximately 2 inches in diameter and are typically located about 4 feet apart. After the concrete lifting is complete, we patch all the access holes with a special mixture. Patched access holes typically dry to match the existing concrete within a few weeks and are usually unnoticeable.
Mudjack Mania LLC has the knowhow and equipment needed to do many types of concrete repairs including epoxy crack treatments, concrete cutting, concrete surface grinding, concrete scarifying, vinyl concrete patching and acrylic concrete resurfacing. We also offer concrete removal and replacement.
There are basically two types of acrylic overlays that we use. Both types of overlays are able to fill and cover a wide variety of concrete problems. No matter which type you choose, you get the satisfaction of knowing your overlay was installed by one of the most experience concrete overlay installers in the country. Textured Overlay…
The first type of overlay would be a trowel on application that is very thin and used to make patterns, logos or simply to add a decorative colored textured finish to concrete. The material can also be applied with a hopper gun and have a lace or knock down texture. This lace texture is very popular around pools but can also be applied to any surface being refinished. The acrylic finish can be made to look like almost anything you could imagine. Even though trowel on surfaces are very thin, they are extremely durable and will even hold up to vehicular traffic.
Stamped Overlay… The second common type of overlay would be a stamped acrylic overlay. This application is approximately 3/8” thick. This thicker overlay is imprinted to imitate a wide variety of surfaces including various natural stone, wood boardwalk, various paving stones and many others. There is a wide range of colors and patterns available to choose from, even dinosaur bones and other fossils. With a stamped overlay, we can turn your plain concrete into beautiful stamped concrete without the hassle and mess of removing the old.
Chemical Staining…
Chemical staining is a process where an acid based solution is applied to the floor. The solution reacts with the free lime in the concrete and creates a marbled looking effect. This is a very popular indoor finish as it is very easy to clean and care for. Although this finish can be applied outdoors, we advise our customers to use a more durable and far more slip resistant finish such as an acrylic overlay for their outdoor needs.
Faux Rock…
Mudjack Mania LLC has the know how and experience to satisfy all your faux rock needs. We have been making faux rock for many uses such as ponds, waterfalls, retaining walls, fantasy gardens and many other applications. Faux rock is much lighter and far less expensive than real rock and because we build all faux rock in place… they always fit. We custom make each rock in place by hand so you are insured a unique product. We are also able to produce many other shapes and texture, as you imagination is the limit.
